APSC OCTOBER EVENTS, Movie Night, Thanksgiving Dinner and Haul Out

Hello Everyone, Hope that you all had a great summer!

We finished our Summer Party season last night with our Force 10 party.  Those in attendance were treated to an awesome night of music provided by Peter Crolly and his band Powerhouse, who blew the roof off of APSC with their mix of R&B,  rock, and the best of Chicago.  If you missed them last night, they’re promised to come back next summer for an encore performance which you won’t want to miss!

I wanted to let you know about a few events we have coming up in October so that you can save the dates.

On Friday, October 2nd, we will be having a Movie Night at the Clubhouse, which will be a Potluck. The first movie will be Captain Ron rated PG13 followed by Whiskey Galore, both movies are sailing comedies.   Dinner will start at 7 pm and the movies will start shortly after.

Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 17th.  This is one the favorite events at APSC.  Come out for an evening of turkey, ham, and the many wonderful dishes that our members bring to the Potluck.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE NEED A FEW PEOPLE TO ORGANIZE AND RUN THE THANKSGIVING DINNER.  Unfortunately, Martin and I are unable to attend, we will be out of town at a family wedding that weekend.  If you are still looking for work hours and would like to help, please let me know.  I will help you organize the evening so that you can oversee the festivities.

Just a reminder that Haul Out for Mooredale and Westwood is Saturday October 24th, followed by Docks Out on Sunday.  A barbecue lunch will be served on Sunday.
