The Aquatic Park Sailing Club is located on the Leslie Street Spit, officially called Tommy Thompson Park. The park entrance is located at the base (or southern-most end) of Leslie Street, where it meets Unwin Avenue, south of Lake Shore Boulevard East. There is a free public parking lot, along with nearby street parking options.
As we are located in a park, we boast unique access options.
By Water:
Sail, motor, paddle, or swim up to our docks. We are located at 43.630672, -79.330130. That’s just across from the Eastern Gap or Cherry Beach, and if you find yourself heading into the Outer Harbour Marina, you’ve gone too far! Two sets of red and green buoys mark navigation through our entrance channel.
By Land:
Weekdays: Club members have drive-in access to the club through the Tommy Thompson Park main gate at the base of Leslie Street.
Weekends and Holidays: The club runs a shuttle from the gates of the park between 9 AM and 6 PM for members and their guests. Outside of these hours, members may drive in.
The club shuttle makes a trip to and from the gate every hour, on the hour. If there are too many people, a second or third run may be necessary. The cart has a maximum occupancy of 6 people, and the trip is about 10 minutes each way.
