Events on the Spit

Hi all,

Take note, there are a few events that will occur on the spit this coming week-end.

Saturday September 9 – Sanctuary Run. Race is 10:00 am – 1:00 pm with 200-300 participants expected.
Sunday September 10 – MEC Race 6. Race is 08:00 am – 02:00 pm with 800-1000 participants expected

The TRCA has changed the rules regarding these events and now insists that events take up no more than half of the Multi-Use Trail (the central, paved road).

For events with more than 250 participants the Multi-Use Trail is to be coned to ensure participants stay within the half trail limit.  This should help to improve APSC access during events.
